Moving day can get a little crazy. Here’s some #BrotherlyAdvice – 10 things to keep handy on Moving Day:

1. Clothing

At least bring a long an extra shirt, stains happen.

2. A Packing Kit

Include scissors, tape, extra bags/boxes, garbage bags, and a black marker or two.

3. Toiletries

Paper towel, toilet paper, soap, toothpaste and toothbrush, shampoo and conditioner, and deodorant. All must-haves for the first 24 hours in a new place.

4. Pet supplies

If you have a pet, do not forget to keep pet food and treats handy, as well as a leash and their bed/crate. It’s a tough day for the fuzzballs as well!

5. Prescriptions

Allergy meds and aspirin!

6. Tech

Phone, Laptops, iPads, and chargers. Never know when you’re going to have to look something up. Like where the closest Take-Out is.

7. Snacks

All the snacks (for the record, movers LOVE snacks!).

8. Notepad and lists

Just to be safe, keep a list of all new utility phone numbers and In-case-of-emergency contact numbers.

9. Bottle of Water

Dehydration can be the death of energy, which isn’t good for you or for us.

10. Entertainment

As we said, Moving Day is a Crazy day. Bring some portable speakers, crossword puzzles, a book – something to keep you occupied during the drive or for when you need to take a step back and let the professionals handle things. Make the day easier on yourself by having some fun things to keep you busy.
